Monday: Today we finished lesson 2-2, and began lesson 2-3. I already assigned 2-2 homework which is due tomorrow. A few students that have already completed this might have had 15 questions instead of 8. I apologize for the error, I forgot to change a setting. If students haven't completed 2-2 yet, it should be fixed now. I also assigned 2-3 homework which will be due Wednesday. It has a companion page for questions 7,8 and 9 for writing out the answers. I have also scheduled a quiz for Thursday over lessons 2-1, 2-2, and 2-3.
Tuesday: We finished lesson 2-3 today. Then we went to the notebook lab to work on homework and practice our facts using the FastMath program. 2-3 homework is due tomorrow including the writing sheet for problems 7,8, and 9. Quiz is Thursday.
Wednesday: We started lesson 2-4 on Greatest Common Factor today. We learned a new fast way to find the GCF. This lesson has a lot in it, so we will be working with it the next few days. 2-4 homework is due Friday, and the quiz over 2-1 through 2-3 is tomorrow.
Thursday: The district experienced internet connectivity problems today, so the quiz has been postponed until tomorrow. We played a fortune teller game to practice Greatest Common Factor in class today. We also reviewed Prime and Composite numbers along with Prime Factorization. 2-4 homework is due tomorrow.
Friday:
-took 2-1--2-3 quiz in lab
-finished lesson 2-4 GCF
-Topic 2 Review assignment due Monday, October 7
